• Event Description: The Department of Systems and Computational Biology (DoSCB), School of Life Sciences, is arranging a conference cum workshop entitled "New Vistas in Drug Discovery, Design and Delivery - 2023" from the 4th to the 6th of October, 2023. The first day (the 4th of October, 2023) is a conference marked by eight invited talks by experts from both the academia and industry in and the allied areas of the theme of this event. There will also be a talk by a representative from CRESSET, UK. The second and third days (the 5th and the 6th of October, 2023) constitute an intensive hands-on workshop conducted by the CRESSET group on computer-based drug design approaches. The registrations are free and are open for PhD students, post-docs and investigators who wish to learn some of the advancements in the thematic area of this event and also wish to undergo training in the computer-based approaches for drug design and apply the same to advance their research. The registrations are limited to 25 and are offered on a "first come first" basis in addition to those meeting the workshop prerequisites as mentioned on the website.
