Interested candidates must appear for an entrance examination conducted by the university as notified on its website acad.uohyd.ac.in website. The entrance examination question paper comprises of two parts – Part A and Part B and each of which comprises of 35 multiple choice questions (Total marks 70). Part A focuses Research Methodology and comprises of questions from general aptitude, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology etc. Part B largely focuses on basics pertaining to the areas of research in the department. Candidates who qualify the entrance examination are called for interview. The interview carries a weightage of 30 marks.
Candidates qualified with NET- JRF are also considered for interviews.
