Faculty Details
Prof. Ravi Gutti holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi. He has extensive research and teaching experience from Harvard Medical School (USA), National Institutes of Health (USA), Moffitt Cancer and Research Center (USA) and RWTH Aachen (Germany). His expertise is in gene regulation and stem cell biology. His current research is focused on understanding the molecular regulation of developmental megakaryocytopoiesis (platelet production) with emphasis on the role of non-coding RNA. He would like to explore the mechanisms regulating the developmental changes in miRNA and lncRNA expression, which are currently not understood.
